Thanks to everyone for coming down to the ABC Book Launch at the Publishing Challenge event on the 20th July! It was great to see our contributors and finally put a face to a name. For those who weren’t there we can proudly announce that the auction of the book raised £75 for the Red Cross!!!

PUBLISHING CHALLENGE EVENT AND ABC LAUNCH

The time has finally come for celebrating the launch of ABC! The project will feature in the Publishing Challenge event at The Book Club on Wednesday 20 July from 6.30pm. It is also a chance to get your hands on a copy of ABC, we will auction one out at the event with all money raised going to the British Red Cross.

Thank you to all our contributors for making this book so special (and keep checking here for details of when they’ll be winging their way towards you!) and thank you to Diginate for donating the stickers.

We’ll be updating here with how much the books raise for the Red Cross so keep an eye out and, once again, enjoy a glimpse of the finished product;

That’s right the ABC books are finally printed, bound, finished, etc and ready to be posted out;

We’re a little late in the game on this but if you can still get your hands on a March copy of Computer Arts magazine check out the feature on our letter K illustrator Karolin Schnoor! Talking about the recent increase in folk inspired illustration, Karolin’s work is described as; “beautiful and vibrantly coloured.”

Uploading the gorgeous, quirky and occasionally bizarre images our illustrators have produced has been a fantastic way to see how far this project has come.The standard of work we’ve received has been incredible and uploading them has just made us all more excited to see the finished book (being bound tomorrow by the clever production people). Thank you to everone who’s contributed to this brilliant, frustrating and very rewarding project!
